THE PLANETS OF CHAOS

The Rise of the Mutables and the Chaos Wars

Not all Vita worlds fell neatly into the rule of the Omegas.
Some met a far darker fate—
a descent into madness, poison, and fire.

These were not lost to corruption through ideology or slow seduction.
These were devoured by war.

Civil war.
Global war.
Total war.

What began as isolated skirmishes between Alpha loyalists and Omega insurgents spiraled into full-scale planetary collapse. Bio-engineered plagues were unleashed in the name of control. Chemical weapons turned breathable atmospheres into toxic fogs. The very soil blackened beneath the feet of marching armies.

Technology could not withstand the scale of devastation.
Spirituality could not survive the hatred.
Order died.

From the ashes rose cities unlike anything in the known galaxy
cathedrals of rusted steel and cracked obsidian, spiked towers belching black flame into a blood-red sky, neon-lit sanctuaries hollowed into the bones of ruined megastructures. These were cities of grotesque beauty, their architecture both sacred and profane, both ancient and industrial.

To live on these worlds was to breathe corruption—
literally.

Air filtration was mandatory.
Helmets, respirators, and pressurised face masks were a part of life.
Not for soldiers—
for everyone.

Children were born into gas chambers.
Markets bustled beneath smog-thickened domes.
Churches echoed with sermons of war and purification, voices filtered through cracked loudspeakers and prayer-machines fueled by blood.

These were the Planets of Chaos.

Their names were erased from the celestial codex.
They became myth.
Cautionary tales whispered by Kwasar archivists and forbidden in Alpha schools.
But the galaxy remembered the name that bound them:

The Chaos Worlds.

And from these hell-forged crucibles of destruction emerged something new.
A species not born, but forced into being.
The Mutables.

Genetically twisted by radiation, war, chemical exposure, and Omega experimentation, the Mutables were the next evolution of warfare.
They were soldiers, but more than that—
they were weapons.

Each carried mutations that made them unpredictable, unstable… and unstoppable.

Some moved at impossible speed.
Others could melt flesh with a touch.
Some communicated only through psychic bursts.
Others had bones like carbon steel, or eyes that burned through walls.

Each wore the black uniform of the Chaos Forces, their helmets sculpted to conceal the grotesque realities beneath.
Gas masks, skull-faced visors, metal breathing tubes—
they hid what they had become.
What they had been made into.

Behind those masks, no one could tell man from monster.

And perhaps that was the point.

The Omega warlords used them as frontline shock troops, enforcing dominion on planets where Alpha resistances still smouldered. The Chaos Wars were not about conquest anymore.
They were about eradication.

About cleansing the universe of balance, of hope, of divinity.

And the Mutables—twisted sons of Sapiens blood—were the sword in Satan’s hand.
